The client required a roof to complement his new build properties. We achieved this by installing a single ply roof incorporating a standard seam profile. The building was insulated from below, this is known as a cold roof construction

A community hall where the main roof was constructed using a material called stramit board. This was used for insulation but as it is made of compressed straw it is combustible and there can be sagging between roof timbers.
The stramit decking was removed along with the fibreglass layer below. We installed a new timber deck and an IKO warm roof single ply system bringing the roof to current standards with a 20 year warranty.
