FLOORING...

Mastic Asphalt provides a damp-proof floor, will make an uneven floor level and is suitable for high levels of floor traffic. It generally requires very little floor preparation and can be applied directly onto an isolating membrane, laid on floors such as concrete or where quarry tiles are present.

Mastic asphalt is installed as a hot liquid and then dries as a solid floor. Drying time is approximately 2 hours, so depending on the floor size, the floor could be used the same day.

We have installed mastic asphalt in homes and on large scale premises such as schools, industrial warehouses, car parks as well as listed buildings.

The photos below show ...

The refurbishment of the Hall & Classrooms of a School in Warwickshire - A mastic asphalt floor was provided with an  area of approximately 1500m2 . This was completed in conjunction with the main contractor. The floor provided a smooth and level surface and was finished with a sanded finish to allow the later installation of a latex surface to allow the final floor finish to be installed.

Work for A Private Client in Nottingham - The hallway floor had deteriorated and become a health and safety risk. In one day the screed was broken up and removed and the asphalt floor installed. The floor was usable the same day.

ROOFING...

Mastic Asphalt provides a damp-proof roofing material with a guarantee of up to 20 years.

It can be used for roofs, gutters and balconies, and can be the base for a green roof. It can also provide roofing and flooring function on balconies and access walkways.

We have done this on large scale, medium and small scale projects such as hospitals, blocks of flats and smaller domestic premises as well as on listed buildings.

CAR PARKS...

WALKWAYS & GARDENS...

Many forecourts, balconies and floors have Mastic Asphalt as a floor. It is a level can be indented to prevent slip and can manage high levels of floor traffic. We have installed asphalt for this purpose.
